Description

Named after the ancient Chinese art of forming miniature trees and landscapes, Penjing is an intricate embroidery on a herringbone linen ground. Planted in decorative pots, the design, which includes a variety of stitch techniques, alludes to a time when porcelain was more precious than gold.
