Description

Aurelia, surrounded by all a manner of Tudor beasts, clothed in heavy, embellished jacquard is the centerpiece of this meticulously detailed wallpaper. Ornately decorated with creatures, Aurelia`s Grail, a coveted world in which fantasy resides, features unicorns, yales, capuchins, pygmy parrots and Japanese Chin dogs, between vines and English roses, a heady ground from which Aurelia stands as curator of her own world. Reflecting the art of tapestry making in a wallpaper, Aurelia`s Grail references the ornate tradition, the rose conveys its Britishness and the Trompe-l`oeil style accentuates the regality of the design.
